Booth Attendant (volunteer)

STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Location: Dawson College, Montreal
Time: 4 hours

Duties and Responsibilities:
•	Manning the Booth: Be the friendly face of STEM Canada, ensuring our booth is welcoming and informative.
•	Public Interaction: Engage with visitors, answer questions, and provide information about our programs and initiatives.
•	Program Promotion: Advise attendees about our various STEM programs and how they can get involved or support.
•	STEM Demonstrations: Conduct public STEM demonstrations to showcase the exciting and educational activities we offer.
•	Collaboration: Work alongside other volunteers to ensure a smooth and successful event.

Requirements:
•	Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people.
•	Passion for science, technology, engineering, and math.
•	Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team environment.
•	Punctual and dependable, with a commitment to the full duration of the event.
•	Prior experience in event participation or volunteering is a plus but not necessary.

Additional Information:
We are honored to be invited by Autism Speaks to participate in this event. We need about 5 enthusiastic volunteers to join us in person on the day of the event. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience, connect with the community, and support a meaningful cause.
