Content Writer / Editor (volunteer)

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Content Writer/Editor  volunteer to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.

Location: Remote 
Time Commitment: 6 hours a week

Responsibilities:
•	Developing engaging and informative content for various platforms (website, blog, social media, newsletters, etc.).
•	Gathering information and conducting research to support content development.
•	Understanding and implementing SEO best practices to improve content visibility.
•	Working with other team members to ensure content aligns with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
•	Strong writing and editing skills ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
•	Ensuring accuracy and consistency in written materials.
•	Efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines
•	Understanding how to optimize content for search engines.
