Our mission is to enhance STEM literacy and application among students from preschool to high school, equipping them with the skills needed to excel in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields on a global level.

Position Title:  Engineering Program Coordinator Volunteer.                                
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 6 hours a week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized  Volunteer Engineering Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee the development and delivery of our engineering-focused programs. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the engineering education experience for students, ensuring that it is engaging, comprehensive, and aligned with STEM Canada’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
●	Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of engineering programs within STEM Canada’s curriculum.
●	Collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, and other team members to design and deliver high-quality engineering content and activities.
●	Ensure that all engineering programs and activities are aligned with educational standards and the goals of STEM Canada.
●	Organize and manage virtual workshops, projects, and competitions related to engineering, ensuring smooth execution and high levels of student engagement.
●	Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engineering programs, collecting feedback from participants and making improvements as needed.
●	Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and educators involved in engineering programs, addressing questions and concerns.
●	Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all engineering programs, including curricula, instructional materials, and program reports.
●	Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in engineering education to continuously improve the quality and relevance of our programs.
●	Promote participation in engineering programs through outreach efforts, including virtual presentations and social media engagement.

Requirements:
●	Background in engineering, education, or a related field, with experience in program coordination or management.
●	Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, particularly in an educational context.
●	Excellent organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
●	Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
●	Ability to create and manage detailed plans and schedules, ensuring that programs are delivered on time and within scope.
●	Passion for STEM education and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of engineers.
●	Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with strong problem-solving skills.
●	Familiarity with virtual learning environments and online collaboration tools is a plus.
