Graphic Designer (volunteer)

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require a Graphic Designer volunteer to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.

Location: Remote 
Time Commitment: 6 hours a week

Responsibilities:
•	Work collaboratively with the Marketing Team
•	Generate engaging and informative content for the SMAC social media pages and accounts (Website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
•	Design marketing materials, brochures, infographics, presentations, web elements, etc. as needed
•	Work on other creative projects and initiatives assigned by Marketing or managers

Qualifications:
•	Excellent graphic design skills (a current or recent student of Graphic Design or related education would be an asset)
•	Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, and similar programs
•	Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask
