Position Title:  Medical Science Program Coordinator Volunteer
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 6 hours a week

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Volunteer Medical Science Program Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the development and delivery of our medical science-focused programs. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the education of future healthcare professionals and to ensure that our programs are both comprehensive and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:
●	Coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of medical science programs within STEM Canada’s curriculum.
●	Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and other team members to design and deliver high-quality medical science content and activities.
●	Ensure that all medical science programs align with current educational standards and STEM Canada’s objectives.
●	Organize and manage virtual workshops, simulations, and projects related to medical science, ensuring that they are executed effectively and engage students.
●	Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of medical science programs, gathering feedback from participants and making improvements as needed.
●	Serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and educators involved in medical science programs, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
●	Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all medical science programs, including curricula, instructional materials, and program reports.
●	Stay informed about the latest developments in medical science education to continuously improve the quality and relevance of our programs.
●	Promote participation in medical science programs through outreach efforts, including virtual presentations, social media, and collaboration with educational institutions.

Requirements:
●	Background in medical science, healthcare, education, or a related field, with experience in program coordination or management.
●	Strong understanding of medical science principles and practices, particularly in an educational context.
●	Excellent organizational and project management skills to coordinate multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
●	Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
●	Ability to create and manage detailed plans and schedules, ensuring that programs are delivered on time and within scope.
●	Passion for STEM education and a commitment to inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
●	Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with strong problem-solving skills.
●	Familiarity with virtual learning environments and online collaboration tools is a plus.
