STEM Canada is a registered not-for-profit global program that specializes in an advanced, bar-none STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Time commitment: 6 hours a week

Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Project Manager Volunteer to join our team. By volunteering, you will have the opportunity to enhance your project management skills while making a significant impact. This position requires working with remote team members to plan, execute, and oversee projects that support our organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
•	Collaborate with a diverse team to plan, implement, and manage projects that align with project objectives and improve operational efficiency.
•	Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
•	Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
•	Conduct regular meetings with team members to ensure alignment, address any issues, and provide updates on project status.
•	Prepare detailed project reports and documentation to support transparency and future reference.
•	Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by effectively managing resources and coordinating team efforts.
•	Foster a collaborative and productive team environment by encouraging communication and teamwork.
•	Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to continually improve project outcomes.
•	Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members, resolving any challenges they encounter during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:
•	Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
•	Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•	Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
•	Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, essential for thriving in a virtual team setting.
•	Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and responsibilities autonomously.
•	Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
