SEO Specialist (volunteer)

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) is a registered not-for-profit organization specializing in science, technology, engineering, and math. (STEM) programming is open to all students with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application. The SMAC will specialize in an advanced bar-none. STEM-based educational curriculum that emphasizes the interconnected subject areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)

We are expanding our programming to industry-specific, hands-on experiences. We require an SEO specialist volunteer to help us keep the momentum going in support of the growth and development of these programs. We ask you to join us in continuing to serve the youth in our community.

Location: Remote 
Time commitment: 6 hours a week

Responsibilities:
•	Identifying relevant keywords and phrases to target.
•	Optimizing website content, including titles, meta descriptions, and headers.
•	Developing strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks
•	Analyzing website structure and performance for SEO improvements.

Qualifications:
•	Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
•	Familiarity with website structure, HTML, and CMS platforms.
•	Ability to interpret website analytics data.
•	Identifying and resolving SEO issues.
