T4Kids is an Alberta registered non profit organization with operation in Democratic Republic of Congo. Our mission is to provide the basic housing, food, clothing and protection needs to children , along with dental, medical and educational developmental programs.

We believe that children are the future and are the most precious gifts. Our gaol is to provide protection and nurture for a better future. 

Are you a creative individual with an interest in designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites? If yes, come volunteer with us! 

As a Web Developer, you will assist T4kids with the building and operation of our website.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and maintain website
Monitor website traffic
Design user interfaces and navigation menus
Design and develop graphics
Write and review code for sites, typically WordPress, CMS Joomla, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or WordPress theme design
Integrate multimedia content onto a site
Create and test applications, interfaces, and navigation menus for a website
Troubleshoot problems with performance or user experience
Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders
Work with other team members to determine what information the site will contain
Integrate graphics, audio, and video into the website

SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently 
Interest in non-profit work, international issues and philanthropy
Understanding User Interface and User Experience Design
Ability to use graphic design software
Strong understanding of web server software, databases and content management systems
Minimum 2 years proven experience in the following areas: WordPress, CMS Joomla, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress theme design
Understanding of web development concepts, deployment, and testing experience
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Google AdWords and Google Analytics
Meticulous attention to detail is required
Strong communication and collaboration skills
