Community Fundraising Catalyst

The Community Fundraising Catalyst will play a pivotal role in driving the fundraising efforts of Starlings Community, helping to secure the necessary resources to support youth affected by the stress and stigma of a parent's substance use. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising activities, building relationships with donors, and working with the fundraising team to achieve our fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Executive Director and Fundraising Manager.
Identify and evaluate potential fundraising opportunities and initiatives.
Set fundraising targets and create action plans to achieve them.
Event Coordination:

Plan and execute fundraising events, including virtual and in-person events, campaigns, and activities.
Donor Relations:

Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners.
Develop and implement donor engagement and stewardship plans to ensure ongoing support.
Acknowledge and thank donors in a timely and personalized manner.
Grant Writing and Management:

Research and identify potential grant opportunities.
Assist in writing and submitting grant proposals.
Track and report on grant applications and outcomes.
Communications and Marketing:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising messages and campaigns.
Utilize social media, email newsletters, and other communication channels to promote fundraising efforts.
Develop promotional materials and content to support fundraising initiatives.
