Board of Director - Individual Donation Chair

W.P. Puppet Theatre Society invites YOU to join our Board of Directors. 

What will you do? 
Serve as our Individual Donation Board of Director 

What does that mean?
Spend about 4 hours/month preparing for meetings 
Meet with the board once a month ( Zoom or in person)

Responsibilities:
o Has access to WPTS Canada helps Account
o Be familiar with Canada Helps Account and update our old information
o Write and devise fun donation campaigns
o Lead the Giving Tuesday donation campaigns in November and any others through the year.
o Prepare donation ‘ask templates’ for all Board members to have. Assist Board members in
learning how to ask for donations
o Feed Mar/Comm donation campaign posts for WPTS social media
o Ensure that Donors are thanked and invited to upgrade their donations to i.e. monthly ongoing
donations, donate to special events.
o Ensure webmaster has up to date info for thanking individual donors
o Prepares WPTS nominations for awards and recognitions

Our Ideal Candidate has:
English speaking and writing proficiency
Organizational skills
Aptitude in email and text communications, Google Drive and Word
A genuine interest in doing impactful work in the arts community in Calgary
