Volunteer Development Officer – Help HAL Build Sustainable Impact

2-4 hours / weekly
6 months or on ongoing
Healthy Aligned Living (HAL) is looking for a committed and creative Development Officer to help us grow our funding, strengthen community partnerships, and support long-term sustainability. We work at the intersection of healing, justice, and empowerment, particularly within Black, Indigenous, and newcomer communities.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, or nonprofit development who wants to use their skills to support an emerging grassroots movement with bold vision and heart.

You’ll help us:
	•	Identify and pursue grant and funding opportunities (municipal, provincial, and private foundations)
	•	Support or lead fundraising campaigns and community partnership development
	•	Build a donor stewardship strategy and maintain funder relationships
	•	Assist with writing, budgeting, and reporting for select grants

You’ll work closely with HAL’s leadership to align fund development efforts with our healing-centered, culturally grounded programming.

We’re not a traditional charity—we’re a movement with structure. If that excites you, let’s talk.
Additional Details & Skills Required
