Growing Spoons

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope, comfort, and joy to children facing insecurity. Whether they are living in homeless shelters or spending extended time in hospitals, we strive to ensure that every child feels seen, supported, and valued.

Through our fundraising initiatives, we create personalized care packages filled with essentials, uplifting items, and handwritten letters for youth in homeless shelters. We also work to fulfill hospital wish lists, helping to brighten the days of young patients with thoughtful, meaningful gifts tailored to their needs. We also actively fundraise for families facing food insecurity, recognizing that a stable, nourished home is essential to every child’s wellbeing.
In addition to hands-on support, we empower our volunteers to contribute through research papers on pediatric topics, allowing them to explore and share knowledge that benefits child health and development.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to remind every child that they matter—especially in life’s most difficult moments.
