Single Mothers Safe Haven

Our organization is called Single Mothers Safe Haven in Botswana. We focus on providing single mothers and their children with food parcels as well as equipping them with basic life skills such as computer skills, sewing, baking, babysitting skills, professional housekeeping skills, gardening etc to enhance their earning capacity. Statistics shows that over 80% of children in Botswana are raised by single mothers and majority of these single mothers have little resources to support their children because they have minimal education and very little support from the government. We do not have child support grants in Botswana to support single mothers. Our organization strives to fill this gap and give single mothers hope and relevant skills to transform their lives.
