Expansions Coordinator - The Hope Initiative Foundation

The HOPE Initiative Foundation is a federally registered charity dedicated to mutual aid, student empowerment and community outreach. We work alongside marginalized groups with respect for their backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. Through mentorship, school outreach and local and international service projects, we aim to inspire youth to take action on social issues, foster empathy and build stronger, more inclusive communities.

Expansions Coordinator 
Each individual on this team will have a designated region that they will focus  on  to  get  new  HOPE  branches  started  at  the  post- secondary institutions  in  the  region.  They  will  use  different  methods  to  recruit interested students, set up meetings to confirm their interest, send out important  documents  and  maintain  relationships  with  that  school.  The  ideal candidate  will  be  organized,  reliable  and  have  strong  communication  skills.

Main Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting new members for HOPE clubs (ie. creating facebook posts, drafting emails, etc.) 
Answering any questions new branches may have or finding support to answer the questions with the correct details Update HOPE members during general meetings on the activities of CR 
Respond promptly to agenda and minute postings within two days 

Time Commitment:
All HOPE general meetings - (1hr/week) 
Weekly-check in meetings with Expansions Committee- (1hr/week) 
Communicate with the Directors through messaging or call as needed. Schedule and complete follow up meetings with assigned HOPE branches (2hr/week)
Scheduling and completing initiation meeting with newly set up HOPE branch alongside follow-up meetings (2hr/week) 
Hours of commitment may vary; approximately 6-8 hours per week.
