Sponsorship Coordinator - The Hope Initiative Foundation

The HOPE Initiative Foundation is a federally registered charity dedicated to mutual aid, student empowerment and community outreach. We work alongside marginalized groups with respect for their backgrounds, cultures and beliefs. Through mentorship, school outreach, and local and international service projects, we aim to inspire youth to take action on social issues, foster empathy and build stronger, more inclusive communities. Sponsorships Coordinator This individual will be in charge of managing and organizing Sponsorship partners and events. They will be tasked with hosting Sponsorship events to spread the word about our programs and organization. They will note all of our donations and maintain a record in collaboration with our financial team. Furthermore, the funding associate will connect us with other organizations with the hopes of collaborating on a Sponsorship event. Main Responsibilities Establish connections with Sponsorship partners and design Sponsorship events Preparing and designing plans for Sponsorship events, including logistics etc. Record all donations received at Sponsorship events Maintain and reinforce relationships with existing sponsors and funding sources. Initiate contact with non-profit and charitable organizations in Greater Vancouver and beyond for potential partnerships. Respond promptly to emails (within 2 business days). Report updates and support the Operations Officer and team. Update team members with current and new activities regarding Sponsorship Other tasks relating to grants and sponsorships as needed Time Commitment: All HOPE general meetings - (1 hr/week) Check in meetings with Sponsorships Committee (1hr/week) Hours of commitment may vary; approximately 6-8 hours per week.
